Driving lesson prices

For cheaper driving lessons you can purchase a block of hours, or choose the Pay as you go option. You can book an Intensive driving course, or a more relaxed One week driving course. For the full licence holder you can take refresher lessons, improve a skill (e.g. parking, roundabouts, motorways, city and rural driving). Increase your driving confidence and improve your driving safety.

With Pay as you go you can purchase a 1 hour driving lesson (daytime only), or 1.5 hour and 2 hour driving lessons (daytime or evenings). For the cheapest hourly rate and to reserve your favourite times, consider purchasing a block of hours.

Purchasing your driving lessons in a block of 6 hours (or more) has a number of advantages; the hourly lesson rate is cheaper, saving you money; you will fix your lesson prices (even if fuel prices rise) and reserve your lessons further ahead. When you have used up your hours, you can simply purchase another block of hours, or go on the Pay as you go tariff. Lessons on the block purchase discount rate are 1.5 hours (or 2hrs on request).

Evening lessons start from 7 or 7.30pm; they are available as 1.5 hour or 2 hour driving lessons. The lessons can be booked with either the Block purchase deal or on a Pay as you go basis.

If you want to be ready for a driving test sooner, an Intensive driving course (or crash course) can save weeks or months of lessons. The course aims to take you through all the driving test competencies over the course of one week. This course is suited to someone who already has a basic level of driving competency. Monday to Friday, 4 hours tuition a day. Normally starting at your home address, you can choose to start at either 9.30am and finish about 2pm, or start at 10am and finish about 2.30pm (a short midday break is included). If you are new to driving, the One week driving course would be more suitable.

A less intensive course designed for the new driver to speed up their learning. Learn to drive at a more relaxed pace while making progress by driving each day; Monday to Friday, 4 hours tuition a day. Normally starting at your home address, you can choose to start at either 9.30am and finish about 2pm, or start at 10am and finish about 2.30pm (a short midday break is included).

If you have already passed the driving test and would like to have a better understanding of motorways and increase your confidence, this lesson is designed for that purpose. Passing You Driving School can also take competent learners onto Motorways and provides a free motorway lesson to pupils who have passed their test with this driving school (see below).

When you pass your driving test with Passing You Driving School you can claim a FREE motorway lesson worth £80 on condition you take the lesson within 10 days of passing your test and at the times offered.
